NEW HINT: Choosing your lighting for growing is an important part of any garden. I have used the three most common type of bulbs: HPS ( high pressure sodium ), MH ( metal halide ) and FLORESCENT in my gardens.
It's always a trade off when choosing the high pressure bulbs...they supply an abundance of lumens, but also give off mucho heat and are costly to maintain. Floros on the other hand are very cheap to run and with enough of them you can do a very good job growing out your crop. Todays compact floros are ideal for starting up a small garden indoors. If you want to flower under floros expect a reduced return upon harvest, but the resin count will still be up there if you use the best possible feeding program.
