It all depends. If there is a bag of chips on the table, then I'll crave something sweet. I can't ever crave what's available to me at the moment. Then once I get off my butt and get some candy, after it's eaten I'll eat the salty. Same thing if there is a candy bar on the table. Chips first, then candy.
