What's up everyone. Happy Wednesday. I'm moving Amsterdam in September and was wondering if anyone knows of any good coffee shops/cannabis clubs in the area. I've heard they are all pretty cool, but I'm looking for place that will be a little more tolerant of a newbie to the club scene.

You are sure lucky my ultamite goal is to move to amsterdam in the next 5-10 years. I do know of one really good coffeeshop, Sheeba. HIt them up i think youll like them.

Hey everyone, thanks for the link hippiemama, you too Dekard. I've heard that Sheeba is cool. Wem511, just remember that the Euro is worth $1.56 American, so if you are from the States, and you get a job there, you're money will be worth more here. That helps if you gt plane tickets from travel agencies within the united states ( most let you order online or over the phone now, if not all of them ). I too will miss my family and friends, but I'm only planning on being in Europe for a year or two. I live in Ohio, and can't go too long without catching an Ekoostik Hookah show.

I've heard really great things about Canada also. Vancouver, on the west coast is supposed to be really beautiful and have some amazing hash bars. I was actually thinking about moving there for a while, as the language barrier is not a problem.

I am from the Netherlands, I don't live close to Amsterdam tho.
You guys think that Holland is some kind of paradise.

Its not, yeah you can smoke a joint in the police station.
But we have to pay lots of taxes and 1liter benzine goes for about $2.50.
So you won't like to have a car here.

the best coffeeshops are the Damkringand the best is the Grey Area best weed on the planet also only one owned by americans ive been going to amsterdam for 20 yrs and there are hundreds of shops but these 2 quality is always parimount. Also you can get a good deal at FreeI 5grams AK-47 37.50if theres anything else you want to know just let me know just got back from a 60 day stay and as always had a great time also owener of magic mushroom is close friend.

Cool for you! Ive heard a lot of great things about "the dam" .Ive also heard that there are alot of shady people there, things are not always what they seem to be. Know the Laws and be carefull whom you trust.PEACE.

bsha i totally understand not being able to go long without ekoostik hookah shows. sweeny is fucking incredible.hookah actully did an amsterdam show a little while back where they made package deals for their fans. i hope they do it again! i personally think barneys has the best hash, all the coffeeshops have quality weed. its hard to pick the best such a personal choice. fuck for me i absolutly love Dumpster and get it in ohio u probally know. Actully living in amsterdam has to be hard,when i went,the trip flew by and i was broke in no time. espcially with the Euro worth more than the dollar now!the only other advice about coffeeshops i can tell you is ask the locals,most of them speak some form of english and they know the little off the beaten path shops, they ussually have cheaper prices than the popular coffeeshops as well. ooooooooo and try not to bust out a map while in the square gypsies with help you find where ur going but also want some money for doing so, it can get tense when ur so stoned and have some crazy yelling at you in a nother language,but u'll be fine. its 1 of the greatest places on earth!
