soo, i live in maine, and i stumbled upon a pretty sick field today. a lot of the plants have little yellow flowers growing out of them. I smoke a fair amount of bud, but know little to nothing about the plants themselves. i just need to know about the little flower things, and the whole female male deal, make it a super dumbed down version too ![]()

You also want to carefully remove the plants with flowers so as not to pollenaite the other ones without yellow flowers are female where you get your bud but if already totaley pollenatied buds will still be good just smaller and full of seeds and be carefull the owner doesnt catch you it would not be very good take care.

I bet they are someones grow. Because if not then you will see some plants in all stages of size. These are only 2 feet tall. Seems someone just planted them recently. All I know is you better be careful going out there. People will kill to protect themselfs or the crop. Harvest time outdoors is not till september or october depending on strain. Sticky,

be very very careful... you might think you werent seen.. but odds are the tender of the field saw you or saw where you trampled thru the brush to get to his field.. Didnt you ever watch "HOMEGROWN"? I grew up in lane county oregon.. TONS of outdoor fields.. You find a field. you turn around and get your ass outta there!! HARVEST TIME: If you saw male flowers..there will be female flowers out there too.. (one preceeds the other usually) wait untill it starts getting chilly,(maine probably around mid sept?) Maybe your lucky and the person who started the field had to leave the area and they are unattendend.(then your in LUCK!!) Drop by RIGHT BEFORE the first cold snap of fall... The females will be thick looking.. The males are stringy little bastards.(usually growing taller" then the females(to propagate the whole area). What to bring : -industrial scissors(a pair of hand held pruning shears work great) -A backpack(big 5 -day camping size (or a army duffel)) (big field-- bring more than one bag.) NOW FIND YOUR BEST FRIEND.. bring his ass so he can carry all that!!! hahahah Go up there with water and snacks and cut cut cut.. I suggest taking the whole plant(cut at ground level) time is important..get in and get out take home.. read about trimming and drying in that section here at dankspot. twords the end of grow time if there is still males pollinating, its ok if you brush up against them or such. It is too late for the pollen you bump to infect the females and make seeds mature(or even unmatured if your pulling that day) ![]() MY PERSONAL OPINION- If the field is there someone planted it... (or could be old and leftover field from a few harvest ago that re-juvinated the next season. Either way it was/is someones hard work. Takes alot of time to plant a field of goodness. If you do decide to take... Dont go blb blab blab to everyone.. Word might get back to the original grower/planteer and you might have a late visitor show up at your house. jsut my two cents enjoy
