![]() | high there fellow gardener! The time it takes to grow from seed to harvest is about 12 weeks. About 1 month to grow it out ( this is optional ) optimally and 2 months to completely flower. Some genetics will be finished in 7 weeks and further, it depends on whether you are growing Sativa or Indica. Hint: You can add beneficial bacteria and fungus to increase root growth during the vegetation cycle and thereby be able to start flowering earlier. Any Questions? Hempy ![]() ![]() ![]() |

![]() | Knowing when a plant is ready is usually a matter of time and timing. At about 7 weeks in flowering the resin on the plants start to turn an amber shade. The white hairs start to turn red or brown as the plant winds down in resin production. Some say if you wait too long to harvest, the stone of the pot gets very heavy, sleepy. Usually it is safe to harvest in week 8.....I find it is handy to take off test buds and sample it betore harvesting if you are not sure. Hint: I use a 4 day rotation period to flush my plants in the last week of flowering. Depending on how many plants I have, I give each plant 1 hour flushing under my kitchen tap the first day...the next day they dry out...the third day they get another hour each under the tap...the fourth day they dry out again. The next day is HARVEST. Hempy ![]() ![]() ![]() |

So just know that time flies when you got a regular job or something else to do besides waiting for the plants to veg then flower. It is so worth the wait! I can finish a plant from seed within 90 days easy! Happy growing StumpyJim ![]() |
