Medical use of marijuana.

I am a veteran of both enduring freedom and Iraqi freedom. I served in the US Navy from 1999 to 2001. I am currently suffering from PTSD “ Post Traumatic Stress Disorder” .
I have been going back and forth to the VA doctors for months now. They are continually giving me different kinds of medications to take to try to keep my depression and anger outbreaks to a minimum. They have not been working. The only thing that has worked for me is Marijuana. Unfortunately for me my state as of yet hasn’t legalized medicinal marijuana.

My family at first was not happy with me using marijuana. Now with me informing them and teaching them the uses and benefits of marijuana compared to the pcychadelic drugs they are supporting me in my endeavor. I may not smoke every day, but the days that I don’t my family can definitely see a change in my attitude and way I act. I’m not saying that I have to have it to survive. I’m just saying do to my illness it’s better that I have it than be on my other meds.
I would like some of your opinions on this issue!

keep fightin bro. ptsd is a bitch!! what ever helps you man, them other meds are bunk, i think, all the psych meds i ever took fucked me up worse

Ya man soon!! You know it's awesome that this is just another use found for medical marijuana!! And I did this thing in english class where we sent a letter to a polotican. I sent a letter to my state rep to vote yes on the proposition to lagalize the use of medical marijuana for missouri!!! It will happen man! Toke on man,toke on! Hope to you see at swagstock! I will have some sick pieces and buy the dankest weed!

I also suffer from an anxiety disorder. It makes shit hard and pot makes it better... enough said? It doesn't harm me so why can't I use it. Yes I could live without it, but what a shitty life that would be. Can't I just enjoy the one thing that make me feel better with no ass fucked side effects. I toke up to enjoy my life. I'm not getting high and rotting away.. so who cares?!

The very worst part about this is you question yourself. "It is illegal, is it really bad for me?" "Everyone around me thinks it's bad for you, maybe it is." You know it makes you feel better so fuck everyone else .<== PERIOD!

Yeah. HB277 at Missouri house of representatives for legalization of medical marijuanna. From what it looks like it may be up to vote on by the pub Nov 2010 right now. It's a long way off lets hope something happens quicker than that.

As for Schwagstock i plan on being there this memorial day weekend. hope to see you there count. I plan on having a blast.
I pretty much got the whole family support with the pot thing now. I hope that one day that anyone in the world can get medicinal pot or like in california hopefully soon to be able to recreationally use it.

Maybe one day our politicians will remember what cannabis and hemp used to do for this country. Hemp used to be the biggest cash crop around. Hell marijuana was even used as medicine till like the 1940. We've made a lot of progress but we still have a lng way to go

I know getting past the sigmas that surround marijuana use, and more specifically medical use can be tough for both the user and their families.
The bottom line is if it makes Your life better,Your pain lessen, Your worries and stress fade then more power to You My friend.
I am a medical user for a different set of issues then You, But to be sure, You deserve any relief You can get after You putting Your ass on the line for the rest of us.
I for one thank You and all the other people who have gave for our wonderful country.
