I hear a lot of people saying that if you don't put out your weed, let it cherry, and let the smoke in the air it's a waste. It makes sense yes, but then again I think does it make any sense to say that because what's the difference between that and smoking a joint. A joint you lite and it burns into the air when you're not puffing, so do those people think that everyone who smokes joints is wasteful??

What's your opinion?

I Guess It All Depends.i Love Smoking Blunts So I Don't Think It's Wasteful In My Opion Even Though People Alwayz Tell Me That.when I Smoke Out My Bong Usually I Kill It With One Hit But That's Just Me. :d

Deckard says that when you get super good at rolling joints and blunts you can make them not burn extra off. maybe it just burns less off cause its more controlled if you roll it right? thats also i like with my vape, not wastin when it ignites

Joints are wasteful in a way because you do allow the green to burn away, But the smoke filling the air around you while you smoke adds ambiance that can be inhaled repeatedly!

that only works if your hott boxing somthing
and i love smokeing blunt after blunt
but only with mids and regs not headies
if i get headies i smoke out of bowls anless i have alot

I've wondered about this. I use a bat and cover the mouth hole after I take a hit which seems to make it stop burning faster. When I don't, or when it just keeps burning anyway, I watch as the smoke curls up toward the ceiling and wonder how much of a hit is floating away from me. Last time I did it, I was re-newing my high before it wore off, so I was still stoned, and I kept sucking at the smoke in the air like a fish. Laughed myself silly... er, uh, did I wander off topic?

Anyway, I thought maybe I was just being paranoid or something, but it's nice to know I'm not the only one who thought of this.

On a related note, how long do you usually hold a hit in before you exhale it? In a lot of the videos I've watched, the inhale-exhale is almost immediate. Does holding it in make it more intense or anything? I usually inhale, count backwards from 10, and then blow out a plume on 0.

Holding your hit in does make a difference. I've heard 8 seconds is enough time for your lungs to absorb all the THC, but I'm not positive.

I am a huge blunt smoker. It's not wasteful. It's your bud, do with as you wish. Currently trying to convert to bongs. I get way higher. I guess it's because of all the smoke inhaled in a short period of time. Yes, holding in the smoke really increases your high. I wouldn't go counting or anything. Just hold in and release when you're comfortable.
