I am 32 and have 2 boys, a 5 year old (almost 6!) and a 1 year old. I don't smoke when I need to be focused, like at work (though after lunch at work is tempting since I work 'til 11pm and there's no one really around after lunch) or when I'm with my kids. I would like to stay sober most of the time when I am with my kids, so there's just no draw to even get high at those times.

I wait 'til my wife goes to bed (she also doesn't know I smoke, but that's going to change this weekend, for better or for worse...) and then get high in the bathroom where I can blow the smoke out the window.

Thus far, there have been 3 times when I got blazed and my 1yo woke up crying. The first time I panicked like there was no tomorrow, but I couldn't just shut the buzz off, so I did my best. I don't recommend doing it on purpose, but it was fun!! The other two times were a little weird (though it's fun being able to tell my 1yo "Your daddy is high as a kite right now! heehee!") but he doesn't know the difference.

Given the choice between my kids or weed, I'll donate my weed to a needy stoner. Given the chance to keep tokin up so long as it doesn't hurt my kids, and I'm a happy stoner.

Does your wife smoke with you?

Most definitely you are not. the main reason for having any( and i mean ANY) bad side effects after you've read up on it, gotten used to it, found your dosage etc, is paranoia, and thats mainly because its illegal. WELCOME TO OUR SITE. Dont let any of the Governments propaganda about potent cannabis, memory loss etc ruin your medication time. When used responsibly you should have NO problems, except other people

Most of the true stoners that live around here are over 50 and have been growing it in their backyards for 30 or 40 years. The booming local economy here is said to be largely due to the many deeply rooted cannabis farmers. They employ a large part of the local population and these people live, shop, play etc. spending their money locally and so on. This is simply how it is... how it should be...? Maybe we should build castles and moats and have own own little communities that are built upon the hills so we can create our own thriving community without destroying our children's future.
