At Times

At times I cried,
though tears are dried,
the inner torture remains unpryed.

At times I scream
the mute mans dream,
as agony goes unredeemed.

At times I felt
the whips leave whelts,
as the unchased ambition melts.

At times I taste
my life at waste,
running towards nothing with quickining haste.
