Well as a few of us old HEADs may remember the
Days of the draft !!

Well my army days started when this was so ..
They made me relive Alices Restaurant & Then shaved my head, called me a pussy every day for 8 weeks LoL !!

I ran across something in a old box in basement
just looking at got me to laughing .

A copy of : The Draftie's Guide To U.S. Army ..
Given to me by my hippie friends on my last hooraw before reporting to Uncle Sam ..

Well the book basicaly is a paperback legal guide
written by to stoners who had been drafted into army just out of law school ..
It was a very good referance for most anything to do with out witting the army at its own game .

And it served me well ,, had sections on how to deal with the Frank Burns kinda officers, How to derail any charge U could think of LoL, And it worked all great advice, how to getout on a sec. 8

Brought back so many funny things to mind / Once a Lt. who hated us stoner guys !!
Figured he would set us up for a surprize inspection in work area thinking he catch us tokin at lunch,, well he made the mistake of discussing this with some like minded pals, In front of some club hostess'es & the girls told us LoL !!

So we was ready LoL !! Few day later in run the MPs blowing whislles yelling don;t move we got U drug heads now ..
They searched us, everything around found nothing, When they told Lt. an his MP officer buddys they found nothing ,, I said wait a minute U guys did'nt search the office ..
So the MP sgt. said yah ur right better search the Lt's office to guys ,, They ask him to unlock his desk so they cold look it over .. Few minutes later Sgt. tells his me stop lookig guys we found what we were looking for !! Turning to Lt. saying sir I am going to have to ask U to place ur hand behind ur back you are under arrest for possesion of hashish & unknown black pills !!

General Myerys called me and some other youung NCOs on the carpet, saying I have no proof of it ..
But somebody planted that stuff who was it ..
We don;t know nothing sir ,, U go back and find out !! Yes sir LoL ..
Well we got rid of Lt. and got a warrant officer been in nam, great guy !! General come down gave us all a steak dinner congrats to Warrant officer for turning around productivity and that no radar site was not working LoL ..
Had a high rateing before Lt. / went back like was when had a officer been to nam knew the value of leavein his troops to party as they wanted as long as the work was done ..
enlisted men can make a officer shine or they can put his carrer in dumpster ..
