If you ask me and you havent yet. MARIJUANA should be leagel. When other man made drugs take such a toll on the welfare of the citizens whey not hit that end of drug abuse harder and let the pot smoker be. He's no problem, he's just high and resting at home after a long day at work or play. Just a thought from a stoner!!!
Ive had my boute with harder drugs and there use caused me to loose everything. Pot has never done that to me. And if i was to say three words that summs it all up would be STAY WITH POT. I dont even drink alachol now just my bud and its high. It has never overdosed me, it has never made me feel shitty and ive never lost my self worth as other drugs have done to me in the past. You might look at this and say "that old man dont know what he is talking about." But from expeariance i do!!! I hope this note helps others walk the right road and down that path you will all be much happier with yourselfs in the long run. And your worth wont be lost as so many others have expearianced. One day you might recall this message and say to yourselves that old man was right after all. But that will be then and this is now. And only you have the power to improve your life, not degrade it. I see so many young ppl down and out in life because of the dammage that chemicals do to them, there insight narrowes and there unwriten rules in life change. They become lathergic and loose all sence of right and wrong. They loose themselves in the midst of the aftermath. Only to find that there lost and strung out on a drug that does unrepairable dammage to there bodies. There are no winners myfriends just loosers. Is this what you want in life to lose everything you work for and have come to be? To sum things up only you can live your life and the paths you take are good or bad. Which will yours be?

Here here! I think the only real argument against pot that holds any weight is that legalizing it would be a slippery slope. People who would like to do other drugs without fear of legal problems could use the legalization of pot as an argument for the legalization of other things. That said, even that argument doesn't hold water. Alcohol is worse than pot but is legal, and so is nicotine, so that slippery slope is already upon us. And who are those people to determine that pot is morally wrong or whatever? It sucks that the people in power are against it. Then again, I would bet that some of those people in power probably do something in private (hell, it's been proven time and time again! drugs, prostitutes, etc.) that they rally against in public, so it really makes no sense to me that they would declare it illegal.

And then a great hypocrisy, alcohol is only legal because of the widespread public outcry that ensued when prohibition was instated (at least in the USA, I'm not huge on history so this info might even be wrong...?). The government tried to make people stop drinking, and it only resulted in a situation much like pot is in now. Perhaps that might be a glimmer of hope for the 420 cause though. There is a huge community (going so far as to have a "4:20 pause for the cause" on a local radio station where they play a 420 themed song, as well as plenty of movies showcasing the life and times of stoners) so perhaps it is only a matter of time? Then again, potheads get lazy (I know I do when I blaze up) so maybe that's why we're in this state.

I agree a gazillion percent with you. Smoke should be legal. It grows out of the ground, and there's not rat poisoning in it or anything that can kill you. Those stupid commercials about the two guys who get high and go through the drive through and run the kid over isn't true. Come on now! When you're that baked, the last thing you're gonna do it go drive somewhere. Can anyone say Dominos?? Also, bud doesn't make people kill each other or fight. You might think about it, but you don't have the energy to. Then by the time you're sober you've forgotten all about it.

I'm still young at 19 and I have luckily learned that already. I did it all young, too young really. I drank a lot.. a lot... and a lot more. Dabbled in hard drugs, but lucky never went crazy on anything. I always mixed a little of whatever was floating around that day. I never realized how fucked up I always was until I see people I used to hang out with and they ask if I remember all the times we hung out and all those parties I had and I don't even know their name... The only thing I never dropped was MaryJane and shes not going anywhere. Weed has never done me wrong. Never made me feel bad and believe or not I do remember things better. All weed has ever done is show me peace and love and taught me how to love people instead of hate.


Legalize, smoke, and give peace and love.
