Some researchers in New Zealand found out that smoking pot can increase your risk of getting schizophrenia. The risk becomes higher when the drug is used by people under the age of 21.

Schizophrenia is a chronic, severe and disabling brain disorder than affects over 50 million people worldwide. Schizophrenics suffer from hallucinations, delusions, disorganized thinking, and unusual mannerisms. They may hear voices that no one else hears or see people or objects that aren't there. Patients may believe that they are being persecuted, harassed or spied upon. These symptoms usually begin in men in their late teens and early 20s and in women in their mid-20s to early 30s.

but, you could aslo get hit by a car tomarow and it wouldnt matter if you smoke 5 pounds of pot in your lifetime or if you havent smoked any

Its Fear that manipulates us into thinking something that is untrue is true. This method has been a powerful way of controlling peoples minds. Think of it yourself, do you know anybody who smokes pot and suddenly one day he or she turns out to be a schizophreniac?

It could be bullshit though, you never know until it happens around you so that you would have proof. Until then, think smart and stay high and happy.

They say a lot of shit man. It's possible it happened to a handful of people. But that dudes right.. do you know anyone thats schizo from weed? I sure don't.

Yes all of you are right. There is no proving on the matter. As I said in earlier thread, I am still newbie on all this and I’m still googling to get useful information about MJ

Ive been smoking pot since i was 12 and im not coocoo!! a little warped but not skitz. lol

Aye, I'm *fairly* sure that's bogus info... But ya just never know. Really doubt it though... I know lots of longtime potheads, and they are all "basically" sane, hehe.
